Applebee's is a North American-based, casual restaurant chain with close to 2,000 locations. Founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 1980, the chain has an international presence in China, Jordan, Brazil and Ecuador.[1] Applebees locations generally feature an upbeat environment with a full bar. The restaurants feature an extensive menu filled with a variety of appetizers, main dishes, sides and desserts. The menu is focused on classic favorites and American-style flavors, but does has some international flavors in the menu. In addition to the basic menu, Applebee's features a large drink and bar menu. Despite the menu's variety, you can make several of the restaurant's classic dishes at home.

Applebee's Drink and Appetizer Recipes

Applebee's offers a wide selection of mixed drinks such as their signature Perfect Margarita that pairs well with most of their appetizer options. Signature appetizer options that can be made at home include the restaurant's Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip, Potato Twisters, or Applebee's Classic Chicken Wings. Applebee's Dessert Recipes

After preparing a signature Applebee's meal, there are plenty of desserts for sweet-toothed diners. One of the classic offerings which is no longer available at the restaurant is the Cinnamon Apple Turnover. You can make this baked good by wrapping a sliced Granny Smith apple in puff pastry and drizzling it with a brown sugar applesauce topping before baking.
