Panera Bread Company is a fast casual restaurant chain that features a bakery and cafe menu.[1] Panera recipes help to capture the flavor and style of the cafe and bring it to your home kitchen. In addition to saving money, knowing these recipes is a great way to treat friends or family members to a great meal or to simply liven up a dinner at home. While some recipes may require extensive preparation such as bread recipes, others such as the soup recipes are simple and easy to prepare.

Panera Bakery Recipes

From pastries and sweets to fresh baked breads and bagels, most of Panera's bread items can be replicated at home. For a special brunch, consider making a Panera egg souffles such as a four cheese, ham & swiss, or spinach & artichoke.[4] If fresh bread is what you are craving, look to replicate the chain's three cheese, Ciabatta, French, sesame semolina honey wheat, cinnamon raisin or special seasonal breads.[5] To satisfy a sweet tooth, consider a pecan braid, cherry pastry, chocolate fudge brownie or shortbread cookies.[6] If you're interested in making a sweet breakfast bread, try preparing Panera's Cinnamon Raisin French Toast or Cinnamon Crunch Bagels.

Panera Salad Recipes

Panera salads such as the Fuji Apple Chicken, Asian Sesame Chicken, Grilled Chicken Caesar, Steak & Blue Cheese Chopped Salad, or Thai Chopped Chicken Salads are fairly easy and quick to prepare.[7] The secret to preparing Panera-style salads is to use ultra fresh ingredients.

Panera Soup Recipes

Pair a salad with one of Panera's signature soups such as the restaurant's warm French Onion Soup, or Broccoli Cheddar Soup. While these soups may be a good choice for an appetizer or a first course, if you're in the mood for a heartier entree, Panera has plenty of filling soups you can try. For a meat-based soup, try making Chicken Noodle Soup with chunks of white chicken meat and pasta or Chicken Tortilla Soup with tortilla strips and Mexican spices.[8]

Panera Sandwich and Side Recipes

If pasta is on the menu, consider trying out Panera's Macaroni and Cheese. For sandwiches, start off with one of their hot Panini sandwiches like the Tomato and Mozzarella and the Steak and White Cheddar Panini. If you prefer a chicken sandwich, learn how to make a Chipotle Chicken Panini, a Cuban Chicken Panini, or the Frontega Chicken Panini.

If turkey is more to your liking, you might enjoy making Roasted Turkey Artichoke Panini or a Smokehouse Turkey Panini. For a cold sandwich, make the chain's Asiago Roast Beef, Italian Combo, Mediterranean Veggie, or Sierra Turkey.[9]

Panera also offers a few sandwiches that can be served for breakfast or brunch. Learning to make the restaurant's Monte Cristo Sandwich or Salmon Club Croissant can make a family breakfast special.
