  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk[3]
  • 2 cups white cheddar cheese, shredded[3]
  • 1 cup yellow cheddar cheese, shredded[4]
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 pound penne pasta, cooked
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

  1. Make the bread bowl accorning to the instructions on the Domino’s Bread Bowl Pasta recipe.

Domino's Three Cheese Mac-N-Cheese Recipe

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and then add the diced onion. Stir occasionally, until the onion becomes soft.[4]
  2. Add flour to the pan and stir for 1 minute.
  3. Pour the milk into the saucepan and whisk continuously for approximately 8 minutes. The sauce will begin to thicken.
  4. Add the cheddar cheeses, salt, and white pepper to the sauce; Stir until all ingredients are combined.

How to Make Domino's Three Cheese Mac-N-Cheese Bread Bowl

  1. Return the bread bowls to the baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the pasta with approximately 2-3 cups of the cheddar cheese sauce. Reserve the remaining sauce.
  3. Spoon about 1 ½ cups of the penne pasta into each bread bowl.
  4. Ladle an additional ¼ cup sauce on top of each bread bowl and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Cook the bread bowls for approximately 10 minutes, or until the sauce is sufficiently warmed and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
