Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Butter

The Texas Roadhouse cinnamon butter is a perfect condiment for yeast breads, rolls or baked sweet potatoes. The whipped condiment imparts a sweet and savory touch without being too strong. Making Texas Roadhouse cinnamon butter is not a difficult process, but knowing a few tips can make the preparation easier. Creating cinnamon butter at home is an economical alternative to purchasing a meal at the chain restaurant and allows home chefs to recreate the special touches found at chain restaurants. After crafting the seasoned butter, it can be easily stored in the refrigerator for several weeks. Simply take it out and allow it to warm to room temperature to make it easy to spread on bread or other dish. The cinnamon butter is a great addition for a holiday meal or a special occasion.

Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Butter Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 teaspoon corn syrup

Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Butter Recipe

  1. Place one cup of butter in a medium-sized bowl. Allow the butter to warm to room temperature so that it is moldable and easier to stir.
  2. Measure one teaspoon of cinnamon, one-third cup of sweetened condensed milk and one-third teaspoon of corn syrup and add it to the bowl.[2]
  3. Stir with a spatula or spoon until all ingredients are well-mixed and it takes on a frothy texture. If you are having trouble getting a creamy texture, consider whipping more air into the mix with a blender.[3]
  4. Serve the cinnamon butter at room temperature.

Comments

Recreating the Texas Roadhouse cinnamon butter flavor can be accomplished through a variety of ingredients. Cooks can use a mixture of honey, confectioners sugar, cinnamon and butter instead of oil and sweetneed condensed milk.[4] The results are quite similar, so using ingredients already on hand is the most economical method.

While any type of cinnamon will do well in this recipe, the amount of spice used may need to be modified based on the quality of cinnamon used. Consider trying Ceylon cinnamon for a more Mexican-style flavored butter.[5] This recipe can also be modified to include other spices including nutmeg or more savory spices like basil or garlic. Match the type of seasoning based on what blends best with the other dishes being served. When using an alternative seasoning, leave out the sweet ingredients at first until tasting the results.
